Glock Gen5 MOS Airsoft Buyer’s Guide (2026): TM vs VFC/Umarex vs GHK, and What to Buy First
Quick answer: Gen5 MOS here means a Gen5-pattern GBB pistol whose listing includes an optic cut. On 3 November 2026 the in-stock buy path was Umarex/VFC G19, G45 and G47. GHK is the aluminum listing, also in stock that day. Tokyo Marui Model 19 Gen5 MOS had no inventory. Buy the magazine the listing names.
This page is the decision tree. OEM differences are in Tokyo Marui vs VFC/Umarex Gen5 MOS. Size is in Glock 19 vs 45 vs 47 Gen5 MOS. Magazines, gas and plates are in First Glock Gen5 MOS Loadout. Current listings are in the Glock collection.

What Gen5 MOS means on this store
MOS means Modular Optic System: a slide cut for a red-dot plate, not iron sights alone. These airsoft listings copy that idea. An iron-sight Gen5 is a different product. A Gen3 or Gen4 magazine is a different listing unless the magazine page names your Gen5 pistol.
Read the product title for the OEM, then buy the magazine that title's family names.
Who builds the gun
Umarex is the license holder on the licensed listings. It is not always the factory named in the title.
- VFC is named on the G19, G45 and G47 Gen5 MOS listings. Those pages describe a metal slide.
- GHK is named on the Glock 17 Gen5 MOS V2 Cerakote aluminum listing.
- SRC magazines are a separate family. An SRC Gen5 magazine is not a VFC spare.
- Tokyo Marui Model 19 Gen5 MOS is not an Umarex product. Its listing describes a carbon-reinforced resin slide.
Which listing to start with
| You want | Start with | What the listing supports |
|---|---|---|
| A gun that was in stock on the review date, with a metal slide | Umarex/VFC G19, G45 or G47 Gen5 MOS | Metal slide. G19 and G45 listings include the MOS and four optic plates. The G47 listing says it is supplied with four optics plates. |
| Aluminum and Cerakote | Umarex (GHK) Glock 17 Gen5 MOS V2 | Aluminum is in the title. Tagged Green Gas / CO2. This page does not name a spare magazine for it. |
| Tokyo Marui's resin-slide Gen5 MOS | Model 19 Gen5 MOS, only if the product page shows stock | The listing describes a carbon-reinforced resin slide. It had no inventory on 3 November 2026. |
The Tokyo Marui Model 19 Gen5 MOS stays as a text link so you can check for a restock. It is not a buy card, because it had no inventory on 3 November 2026. Stock changes. The product page wins.
Size, after you pick the OEM
- G19: shorter slide. The VFC listing is the compact MOS.
- G45: the real-steel note on that listing calls it a compact slide with a full-size frame. Holster fit is not confirmed here.
- G47: the full-size named listing. Its page describes a G17-length slide. Check a holster chart before you buy a holster.
The size page is Glock 19 vs 45 vs 47 Gen5 MOS.
What to add after the pistol
- One spare magazine whose listing names your pistol. The in-stock VFC 22rd magazine title names G17 Gen5 and G45. It does not name G19 Gen5 or G47. The dedicated VFC G19 Gen5 magazine had no inventory on 3 November 2026.
- Green gas the pistol page allows. RWA Green Gas is the green gas can in stock here. It is not a substitute for the pistol's own gas line.
- 0.25g BBs. Tokyo Marui Finest Bio 0.25g is tagged 6mm. These pistols are also tagged 6mm.
Do not cross brands. A Tokyo Marui magazine listing does not name VFC. The VFC G19 20rd magazine that is not labeled Gen5 says Gen3/Gen4 only. Details are on the loadout page.
