At the heart of the GRY lies its billet-machined upper and lower receivers, paired with a distinctive one-piece rail system that is fully serviceable and engineered to maintain optic zero even after disassembly and reassembly. This rail uses M-LOK slots for accessory mounting and allows quick, tool-free configurations in the field. The rifle's signature element is the patented JailBrake muzzle device, which effectively reduces muzzle blast and flash while remaining removable for suppressor attachment or other setups. Additional high-end touches often include a titanium nitride-coated bolt carrier group, an integrated gas key, a proprietary box-fluted barrel design, ambidextrous controls, and collaboration parts like a Radian Arms charging handle in some configurations.

CYMA has meticulously replicated this Airsoft version of the rifle. In the realm of real firearms, this model first appeared at the 2015 US SHOT Show. It was primarily designed for civilian or professional shooters, and this rifle is not a mass-produced product. Its main market target is professional shooters, offering a customized rifle with an exceptionally striking appearance. The overall functionality is also tailored to the needs of professional shooters.
This particular model, the EMG SAI GRY M4 13.5 inch GBB Airsoft Rifle (CYMA CGS System), is fully licensed by EMG Salient Arms International. It features a metal receiver engraved with the "SALIENT ARMS INTERNATIONAL" logo and "SAI LAS VEGAS, NV" markings. The metal 350mm M-Lok system handguard includes a picatinny rail on top, as well as 60mm picatinny rails with 5 slots on the left, right, and bottom at the front end. Both the front and rear of the handguard are equipped with sling sockets on each side, and it bears the "SALIENT" marking. At the front of the rifle, there is a JailBrake muzzle device. On real firearms, the JailBrake is not merely decorative but serves a practical purpose. From the handguard to the JailBrake, it completely encases the outer barrel. The rifle also includes a Polymer SALIENT UGG stock with a rubber pad and sling sockets on both sides, a metal 355mm outer barrel engraved with the "SALIENT ARMS INTERNATIONAL" marking, a steel 65mm 3-prong flash hider with a 14mm CCW thread, a dummy gas block and gas tube, a 4-position stock pipe, and a polymer pistol grip. It comes with a metal 30-round loading capacity CGS System magazine. Additional fine details include a steel bolt catch, a metal magazine release, a metal fire selector, a metal trigger, a metal forward assist, a metal dust cover, and a gold-plated CNC machined steel bolt carrier engraved with the "SALIENT" marking. The rifle is also equipped with polymer flip-up front and rear sights.
Internally, the rifle utilizes the CGS System, which is designed to mimic the Tokyo Marui MWS System. As a result, internal components of the MWS system are compatible with this Airsoft rifle.
