Its 14.5-inch Cold Hammer Forged M4 Profile barrel, made from Chrome Moly Vanadium steel with a 1:7 twist, stabilizes heavier rounds. Chrome-lined with a Mil-Spec phosphate finish, it resists corrosion. A pinned and welded 17-4 PH stainless steel Flash Suppressor extends the barrel to 16 inches for legal compliance.
The 12.25-inch RIS II free-floating Picatinny quad rail, machined from 6061-T6 aluminum with Type III hard coat anodizing (Black or FDE), supports M203 grenade launcher integration. Its 6-bolt Bolt-Up System ensures a secure fit, with an uninterrupted top rail, sling swivel points, and heat-resistant grip panels.

It features the iconic Daniel Defense SOPMOD RIS II handguard in a 320mm dark earth finish, equipped with a full-length Picatinny rail system for mounting various accessories like foregrips, flashlights, or laser modules, though these items are not included.
