The EMG DDM4 V7P AEG Airsoft features an overall metal structure, including a metal APS Hawk lower receiver engraved with "Daniel Defense" marking, a Metal APS Hawk upper receiver with "DDM4 V7P"/"5.56" markings, and a weather-resistant matte black finish. It also includes a metal Daniel Defense MFR 9" M Lok handguard with a 20mm picatinny rail on top, three ambidextrous QD sling points on each side of handguard, a metal outer barrel with a metal muzzle brake (14mm ccw), a metal 6-position stock pipe with an APS RS-3 stock and foldable stock adapter. The lithium battery can be installed in the stock pipe without interfering with its functionality. Additionally, it has a polymer pistol grip, a polymer 450-round loading capacity magazine, and flip-up front and rear iron sights.

Internally, it boasts an APS EDGE II Gearbox, 8mm bushings, a long type AER033 high torque motor, a Micro FET MOSFET, an 18:1 CNC steel gearset, a full steel teeth piston, a pre-installed rapid trigger system for a shorter travel trigger pull compared to a regular V2 trigger, a stainless steel ported cylinder, and an aluminum cylinder head with double O-rings. The gearbox shell is significantly reinforced to handle the stress of up to an M190 spring.
