Rather than an unlicensed approximation, the rifle carries genuine Daniel Defense branding and model detailing, and CYMA's execution backs that up with full-metal receivers, handguard, and barrel assembly.

Externally, the rifle is built around a metal upper receiver engraved with "DD5 SBR" and "7.62" markings, paired with a metal lower receiver carrying the Daniel Defense logo.
