Crafted primarily from polymer, this model utilizes a unique Japanese "Heavy Weight" construction technique. This process gives the polymer components a substantial weight and texture that is remarkably similar to real metal, creating a deceptively realistic feel. The Tanaka S&W M500 3+1inch Heavy Weight Ver.2 Gas Revolver features a heavyweight polymer outer barrel, frame, and a cylinder that can hold up to 11 rounds of 6mm BBs. The gas inlet valve is also located within the cylinder. It comes equipped with a rubber, non-slip pistol grip and is accented with essential metal components, including the cylinder release, adjustable rear sight, and a steel ejector rod.
Internally, it operates on the efficient Pegasus system, a reliable gas mechanism housed in the cylinder. It also features an adjustable hop-up; by swinging the cylinder to the left, the inner barrel is revealed, allowing for easy access to the hop-up adjustment.
