The MCX Rifle, introduced in 2015, is a highly modular, multi-caliber firearm platform designed for versatility and performance across various applications. It operates using a short-stroke gas piston system, derived from the MPX submachine gun, which enhances reliability and reduces carbon buildup compared to direct impingement systems, making it easier to maintain. The rifle is available in selective-fire configurations for military and law enforcement use, as well as semi-automatic versions for civilians. Its design supports multiple calibers, including 5.56?45mm NATO, .300 AAC Blackout, and 7.62?39mm, with quick-change barrels that allow users to adapt the firearm for different missions, such as personal defense, tactical operations, or suppressed shooting.
The MCX features interchangeable components like barrels, stocks, and handguards, often equipped with KeyMod or M-LOK attachment systems, enabling extensive customization. It comes in various forms, including rifles, carbines, short-barreled rifles, and pistols, with barrel lengths ranging from 5.5 to 18 inches and weights between approximately 5.8 and 7.9 pounds. 
Notable for its firing speed, controllability, and optimization for suppressed shooting, particularly with .300 Blackout, the MCX has gained popularity among SWAT teams, special forces, and civilians. Specific variants include the MCX Virtus, the compact MCX Rattler, and the MCX Spear, which was selected by the U.S. Army in 2022 as the XM7 rifle in .277 Fury.

The Salvo Precision MWS Spear LT CSAW is a 10.5-inch GBB airsoft rifle (Model: G104-3A / No Marking) that expertly replicates the exterior design of its real-steel counterpart. It is constructed with a full-length top Picatinny rail and a 220mm M-Lok compatible skeletal handguard for ample accessory mounting. The 230mm metal outer barrel is tipped with a 55mm Spear LT 3-prong flash hider (14mm CCW threads) and features a metal gas block with a gas tube for added realism.
The metal receiver includes integrated sling sockets on both sides. The included foldable skeletal stock, which attaches to a rear Picatinny rail, is equipped with a rubber buttpad and additional sling sockets on both sides. The rifle features full ambidextrous controls, including the fire selector, magazine releases, and charging handle, complemented by a realistic bolt catch and a steel trigger. It is powered by a 35-round metal gas magazine and includes a polymer pistol grip.
At the heart of its performance is the MWS GBB system, renowned for its consistency and reliability. The internal components are primarily constructed from steel, significantly enhancing durability and providing a robust recoil impulse. A key feature is the short-stroked SCX bolt system, which utilizes a compact bolt with a guided track, springs, and rollers for an exceptionally quick and smooth cycle. This design allows for the use of Picatinny-mounted stocks while delivering a satisfying and distinct shooting experience.
The SCX line integrates the hop-up unit base directly with the outer barrel, drastically minimizing wobble in the hop-up rubber and inner barrel assembly for consistent accuracy. Hop-up adjustments are made via a dial that offers clear tactile feedback. As the Spear LT variant, this model includes a fully ambidextrous trigger box with steel reinforcements on high-wear components to ensure a long service life. The rifle offers safe, semi-automatic, and full-auto fire modes on a curved trigger, characterized by a short, crisp break and a quick reset.
Salvo Precision has actively incorporated user feedback into the Gen 2 line, implementing several key improvements. The lower receiver now includes a reciprocating spring buffer pad for improved recoil absorption and bolt travel. A revised barrel clamp design addresses previous barrel wobble and accuracy issues (Salvo recommends applying blue threadlocker to these screws upon reassembly). The hop-up chamber mount has also been redesigned for a more stable and secure assembly with the outer barrel. For maintenance, it is advised to regularly check the two top bolt screws for security after gameplay and apply blue threadlocker to prevent damage. For users of Tokyo Marui MWS STANAG magazines, Salvo recommends replacing either the magazine feed lips or the SCX nozzle with parts from Guns Modify to ensure consistent feeding and prevent potential damage.
The rifle comes complete with a high-quality, double-lock hard case (720mm x 340mm x 115mm) featuring custom-cut foam inserts for secure storage and transportation.
