About Northeast UZI

This Airsoft SMG is a meticulously crafted replica of the UZI model used by the Israeli Defense Force in the 1960s. The "60" designates its historical roots, paying homage to the original firearm from that era. This airsoft version closely mirrors the authentic UZI, featuring a robust steel construction with a parkerized finish, while the grips are made from high-quality polymer. It also includes a detachable wooden stock, just like the original.
The functionality of this replica is strikingly similar to the real firearm; for instance, the bolt and charging handle remain in position if the bolt is not fully charged. Additionally, the gun cannot be charged when the safety is engaged or when the grip safety is not pressed. The main difference is that this model fires 6mm BBs, making it suitable for airsoft gameplay.
One notable improvement over the Northeast STEN is the ease of activating the dry fire mode on the UZI. Users can simply toggle a switch on the magazine, eliminating the need to disassemble it for this feature, which is perfect for practicing at home.
In terms of markings, the gun boasts authentic Hebrew inscriptions, including fire control markings. However, please note that our website does not support Hebrew characters, although the fire control settings are aligned with those of the MP2A1.
While the recoil is present, it may not be as pronounced as that of the Umarex (VFC) H&K MP5A5 gas airsoft SMG, but it delivers a satisfying snappiness in semi-automatic mode and mimics the real UZI's firing rate effectively. Ultimately, this model represents the first full metal, full-size gas blowback airsoft UZI, making it a valuable addition to any collector's arsenal.
