About Real Browning Hi-Power
The Browning Hi-Power is one of the most iconic and widely adopted military pistols in firearms history. Designed by John Browning and completed by Dieudonn? Saive at Fabrique Nationale (FN) in Herstal, Belgium, the Hi-Power was introduced in 1935 and went on to serve as the standard sidearm for more than 50 nations' armed forces?a service record surpassed only by the Walther P38 and Colt M1911. The "Hi-Power" name refers to its high-capacity 13-round magazine, which was exceptional for its era. The Canadian version was produced under license and issued to Canadian forces, bearing distinct markings that set it apart from the standard FN production models. Renowned for its slender profile, exceptional trigger, and perfectly balanced ergonomics, the Browning Hi-Power remains one of the most influential pistol designs of the 20th century.
About Marushin Browning Hi-Power Canadian Model Gun (Silver/ Black Grip)
Marushin brings the legendary Browning Hi-Power to life as a non-firing model gun with the Canadian variant configuration in the Silver / Black Grip version. The slide is polymer with a silver finish and is engraved with the authentic "browning" marking, faithfully replicating the roll marks found on the real-steel pistol. The frame is also polymer in silver, perfectly matching the slide for a cohesive, premium appearance. The outer barrel is polymer finished in black, providing a subtle contrast against the silver slide and frame.
The grip covers are polymer in black and feature the classic diamond-pattern non-slip texture, delivering an authentic, secure feel in hand that closely mirrors the original Hi-Power's grip panels. The dummy magazine is full metal and comes supplied with 5 rounds of dummy cartridges, allowing you to simulate the complete loading and cycling process.
The internal metal components include a metal slide catch, metal safety, metal hammer, metal trigger, metal magazine release, and a metal sling hook?all contributing to an authentic, tactile experience. Although this is a non-firing model gun with no projectile capability, it delivers a remarkably realistic handling experience. You can load the dummy cartridges into the magazine, insert the magazine into the pistol, and rack the slide?the cartridge chambers just as it would in the real firearm. Pulling the trigger (non-firing) causes the hammer to fall and strike the frame with a crisp metallic click. Racking the slide again ejects the chambered cartridge, which pops out and falls to the ground, while the next cartridge from the magazine chambers automatically?faithfully replicating the complete cycle of the real Browning Hi-Power.
