The Mateba, a firearm manufactured in limited quantities, was created by Mateba in Pavia, Italy. Operating like conventional revolvers, the Mateba M2007 requires users to physically pull the trigger and/or cock the hammer to activate its mechanism. Notably, the Mateba features a unique barrel alignment, positioned at the bottom of the cylinder rather than the top. This design choice lowers the bore axis, aligning recoil with the shooter's hand and reducing the twisting motion or muzzle flip commonly associated with standard revolvers.
