Product Description:

Madbull 60 Degree Shark Accelerator Hopup Bucking (Red). Softer rubber construction with shark-fin internal teeth for aggressive backspin on heavy BBs (0.28g+). 60 Degree rubber is softer than standard 80-90 degree rubber, making it easier to install and providing better air seal on lower-FPS setups. Includes 2x hop-up rubbers.

Compatibility & Application Guide

Compatible Platforms

Platform Model Variant Notes

Which Hardness Should You Choose?

Degree Best For Trade-off
60° (this product) Standard AEG, sub-400 FPS, 0.20-0.28g BBs Softer seal = more consistent hop on lightweight ammo; faster wear than harder compounds
70-80° (Blue/Purple Shark) 400+ FPS, DMR builds, 0.30g+ BBs Durable under heavy spring loads; may over-hop light BBs

Common Pairings (based on verified customer orders at eHobbyAsia)

  • MadBull Shark Bucking + PDI 6.01mm Inner Barrel — precision barrel + aggressive bucking for accuracy-focused DMR builds
  • MadBull Shark Bucking + Prometheus Flat Nub — flat-hop conversion for heavier BBs without replacing the entire chamber

GBB Compatibility Warning

  • GBB users: This is an AEG-cut hop up bucking. Most GBB pistols (Hi-Capa, Glock, 1911) use VSR/G-Series cut buckings. Verify your hop chamber cut type before ordering.
  • CO2 users: Higher pressure can accelerate wear on 60-degree rubber. Consider 80-degree alternatives for CO2 setups.
