The M110 Semi-Automatic Sniper System, or SASS, is a precision rifle developed by KAC for the United States military. Adopted in 2005 to replace the aging bolt-action M24, its purpose was to give designated marksmen and snipers a weapon that combined the first?round accuracy of a traditional bolt gun with the faster follow?up shot capability of a semi?automatic platform. Built around the 7.62x51mm NATO cartridge, the M110 is essentially a military evolution of the commercial SR?25, which itself was based on Eugene Stoner?s original AR?10 design.
The rifle weighs about 13.8 pounds unloaded and features a 20?inch barrel, giving it an effective range of roughly 800 meters against point targets. It uses a gas?operated, semi?automatic action and comes with ambidextrous controls?safety, magazine release, and bolt catch?making it adaptable for both left? and right?handed shooters. The system was designed to accept a suppressor, a bipod, and a variable?power optic, and it became widely used by U.S. Army and Marine Corps snipers during the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.

It initially gained prominence as the primary weapon used by the U.S. Army?s Fury task force in the Afghanistan theater of war. Today, it is predominantly utilized by the U.S. Marine Corps and the U.S. Army. The M110 series can also be seen in the hands of special forces units in Ukraine, marking it as a distinguished new-generation sniper rifle.
This E&C KAC SR25 M110 Airsoft AEG Rifle features a metal receiver with engraved realistic markings and a Picatinny rail on top. It is equipped with a metal 320mm Picatinny rail RIS system handguard featuring engraved KAC markings, a metal 480mm outer barrel, a metal 70mm muzzle brake, a polymer pistol grip, and a polymer 275mm stock with sling Socket on both sides, along with an adjustable stock pad. The rifle includes a steel housing magazine with a 100-round capacity. Additional metal components include a metal trigger, metal trigger guard, metal ambidextrous magazine release, metal ambidextrous fire selector, metal ambidextrous bolt catch, metal charging handle, and metal flip-up front and rear sights.
Internally, the rifle is powered by the new E&C 2.0 V2 Gearbox, which allows easier access to gearbox internals for upgrades. It also features a QD system for quick-change spring access and a functional charging mock bolt plate for fast and convenient hop-up adjustment.
