The FN Herstal FNS-9 is a striker-fired pistol initially developed for the United States Joint Combat Pistol Program, based on the FN FNX pistols. It has been adopted by several law enforcement agencies in the United States.
The Cybergun FN Herstal FNS-9 Gas Blowback Airsoft Pistol by VFC is a fully licensed, 1:1 faithful replica of the real steel FNS 9. It operates on green gas and offers ambidextrous controls, two interchangeable backstraps, and a trigger safety. Despite its compact size, it provides a similar form factor to the Glock 19.
One notable feature is its full ambidextrous design, allowing the magazine release to be operated from both sides without the need for physical swapping. Additionally, the slide release is present on both sides, accommodating both left-handed and right-handed users. The gas airsoft pistol incorporates a trigger safety mechanism similar to that of Smith & Wesson M&P series handguns, requiring intentional depression to fire. The package includes two backstraps, offering users a choice between a straighter profile and a more curved profile to suit individual preferences.
