About Real Type 56-2 Rifle

The Type 56-2 is the final and most refined variant of the Chinese Type 56 rifle family, which originated as a licensed copy of the Soviet AK-47 in 1956. The original Type 56, distinguished by its hooded front sight and folding spike bayonet, became one of the world's most produced firearms, with tens of millions made for the People's Liberation Army and global export during the Cold War.
Its evolution saw the creation of the Type 56-1 with a downward-folding stock for paratroopers. The Type 56-2, introduced around 1980, represents the peak of this lineage. Its key improvement is a modern side-folding metal stock, based on the Soviet AKS-74 design, which offers better balance and stability than the earlier under-folding model. This variant was produced primarily for the international market, as China's military had begun adopting the newer Type 81 rifle. Chambered in 7.62x39mm, the Type 56-2 combines the legendary reliability of the AK platform with practical refinements, solidifying its status as a globally recognized and historically significant firearm.

About AKRIVA Airsoft Type 56-2 GBB Airsoft Rifle (Real Bakelite/ Full Marking)

This is a rare product on the market. AKRIVA Airsoft has faithfully replicated a scarce model based on the Type 56 series of rifles, which were produced in China from the 1950s to the early 1980s and are not commonly seen in European and American markets. It is truly admirable that AKRIVA Airsoft boldly recreated this rifle series.
Constructed primarily from steel and Bakelite, this rifle uses the same materials found in the real Type 56-2 firearm. Bakelite is known for being heat-resistant and lightweight. The AKRIVA Airsoft Type 56-2 GBB Airsoft Rifle features a steel receiver, steel top cover, steel 330mm outer barrel, and a steel/Bakelite 230mm side-folding stock. It also includes a Bakelite 160mm handguard, Bakelite pistol grip, and a steel 7.62x39mm-style 30-round gas magazine. Additionally, it comes with various small metal components: a steel fixed front sight, steel rear sight, steel gas tube, steel trigger, steel magazine release, and a steel selector lever.
When firing, this airsoft rifle produces a loud sound and delivers strong recoil, offering a highly realistic tactile experience. Combined with its weight, it truly feels like holding a real firearm. For you as a firearm collector, this is undoubtedly an essential addition to your collection.
