About Real P90
The FN P90, officially designated as the P90, is a Belgian personal defense weapon (PDW) designed and manufactured by FN Herstal. Created in response to a NATO request for a replacement for 9?19mm Parabellum firearms, its development began in 1986 and was finalized by 1990, hence the name "Project 90." The weapon was revolutionary for its time, intended to equip vehicle crews, support personnel, special forces, and counter-terrorist units with a compact but powerful firearm capable of penetrating the emerging body armor of the late 20th century, which standard pistol calibers could not effectively defeat.
The P90's most distinctive feature is its unconventional bullpup configuration, where the action and magazine are housed behind the trigger group. This design allows the weapon to have a full-length 263-millimeter barrel while maintaining an overall length of just 50.5 centimeters, making it extremely compact and maneuverable in tight spaces like vehicles or aircraft. Its profile is further distinguished by the prominent, translucent magazine that sits horizontally on top of the receiver. This 50-round magazine feeds the specially designed 5.7?28mm ammunition, and it incorporates a unique internal spiral ramp that rotates each cartridge ninety degrees to align it with the chamber for feeding. The transparent nature of the magazine allows the shooter to visually check their remaining ammunition at a glance.
The P90 was designed from the ground up to be fully ambidextrous. The charging handle can be easily switched to either side of the weapon, and the spent casings are ejected downward through a chute in the grip, making it equally usable for right- and left-handed shooters without modification. The controls, including the fire selector and magazine release, are also accessible from both sides.
About Cybergun (King Arms) FN Licensed P90 Tactical AEG Airsoft Rifle
King Arms has faithfully reproduced this Airsoft version of the firearm. In the realm of real steel, this rifle has been in mass production since 1991 and is considered a classic. To this day, it can be found in 48 countries around the world and has participated in various conflicts globally, including the Afghanistan War and the Iraq War. The P90 is more compact than typical rifles, but this does not compromise its firepower, as its barrel is housed within the body, leaving no space wasted. In conventional firearms, the stock is only used to support the shoulder and has no other functions. However, in the P90, besides this purpose, the stock also houses essential components of the gun, making the most of every inch of space. This design ensures high power while making it easy to store in vehicles, and its compact and lightweight nature makes it ideal for close-quarters combat.
This Cybergun (King Arms) FN Licensed P90 Tactical AEG Airsoft Rifle, licensed by EMG x Cybergun, features a polymer body frame with engraved "FN Herstal" markings, a metal receiver with an integrated upper RIS Rail set (Tri-Picatinny Rail set), providing ample space for mounting RDS, lasers, or flashlights. The RIS Rail set includes a small hole that runs through the entire rail, complemented by a set of iron sights at the front, which can be used for aiming. It also comes with a metal outer barrel equipped with a 50mm muzzle brake.
As an AEG (Automatic Electric Gun) Airsoft rifle, its lithium battery can be stored inside the stock (compatible with 7.4V or 11.1V Li-Po batteries). It has a 100-round translucent amber magazine and includes small accessories such as a polymer trigger and a polymer fire selector located beneath the trigger, offering three shooting modes: safe, semi-automatic, and fully automatic. The ambidextrous cocking handle adds to its user-friendly design. Internally, it features a Ver. 6 Gearbox, a Quick Change Spring system, a 290mm inner barrel, and an adjustable Hop-Up.
