The SIG Sauer MPX Copperhead is an ultra-compact firearm chambered in 9mm, designed for maximum concealability and maneuverability as one of the smallest members of the MPX family. It operates using a short-stroke gas piston system with a closed, rotating bolt, which helps reduce recoil and improve reliability. The original model features a 3.5-inch barrel with an integrated, permanently attached muzzle brake and has an overall length of just 14.5 inches, weighing approximately 4.5 pounds. Its design includes a monolithic upper receiver with an integrated handguard and a full-length Picatinny rail for optics, as well as ambidextrous controls for the safety, magazine release, and charging handle. It was originally equipped with a stabilizing brace known as the Pivoting Contour Brace. There are two primary variants of the Copperhead: the original with its non-removable muzzle device that cannot accept a suppressor, and the later Copperhead-K, which has a 4.5-inch threaded barrel that allows for the attachment of suppressors and other muzzle accessories. The firearm is known for being exceptionally easy to shoot with very light recoil, and the muzzle blast from its short barrel is considered relatively mild compared to rifle-caliber short-barreled firearms, making it a popular choice for home defense or as a highly packable pistol.

About APFG MPX Copperhead GBB Airsoft Rifle

APFG has faithfully recreated this Airsoft version of the rifle. In the realm of real firearms, this model was introduced in 2019 and is one of the latest rifles available today. It is primarily used in the U.S. civilian market, as well as by the U.S. Army's PSD units, whose main responsibility is protecting high-ranking military officials. Its compact size makes it easy to conceal, whether stored inside an armored vehicle or an ordinary car, allowing the weapon to remain discreet. This firearm is also issued to special operations forces such as the Green Berets and Delta Force.
The APFG MPX Copperhead GBB Airsoft rifle features a metal lower receiver with engraved realistic markings, a CNC aluminum receiver with a 20mm Picatinny rail on top, and a one-piece handguard that is extremely short. It includes a metal 100mm outer barrel with a steel 45mm muzzle brake (14mm CCW), a polymer non-slip textured grip, and a metal 30-round MPX 9mm-style magazine. This version does not include a stock; instead, the rear of the gun is equipped with a Picatinny rail, allowing you to attach a stock of your choice.
The rifle also comes with small metal components, including an ambidextrous fire selector, ambidextrous bolt catch, ambidextrous magazine release, ambidextrous sling socket (located at the rear of the gun), metal dust cover, metal bolt, and metal charging handle. With a total length of just 345mm, it is extremely compact, making it ideal for concealed storage. Lightweight enough to be held comfortably with one hand, it delivers the powerful suppressing fire expected of a rifle despite its small size.
In terms of performance, it excels as well. When firing, the blowback recoil is strong, and the sound is impressively loud. The rate of fire is quick, and shooting it provides a powerful sense of impact, making it a highly enjoyable rifle to use.
