Bravo Company Manufacturing ? BCM ? has built its reputation on a single idea: a fighting rifle should be boring, in the best possible sense of the word. Founded in the early 2000s and grown out of the Bravo Company USA training and equipment business, the Wisconsin company made its name supplying duty-grade AR-15 components to military, law-enforcement, and serious civilian users who needed parts that simply did not fail. BCM parts earned their place through hard testing rather than marketing, and that track record turned the company's complete rifles into some of the most trusted and widely issued American ARs outside the big defence primes. The BCM GUNFIGHTER line took that same approach into the accessory world: charging handles, grips, stocks, and handguards designed around what shooters actually do under stress rather than what looks good on a shelf.

Two products define the rifle reproduced here. The first is the MK2 upper receiver, BCM's refined take on the standard AR upper ? a cleaned-up forging with improved shell deflection and the fit and finish of a duty rifle. The second is the MCMR, the M-LOK Compatible Mini Receiver handguard, a slim, low-profile tube that wraps close to the barrel and carries direct M-LOK slots instead of a full-length Picatinny rail, cutting weight and diameter while leaving the top rail clear for optics. In the 11.5-inch length the MCMR turns the rifle into a compact, general-purpose carbine ? short enough for vehicle work and tight spaces, long enough to use the 5.56 cartridge properly.

The 11.5-inch carbine with an MCMR handguard and BCM GUNFIGHTER furniture is one of the defining duty configurations of the modern AR. It is what the company's rifles are known for: nothing decorative, everything purposeful, and a colour like Urban Grey applied because a rifle that lives a working life does not need to look like a display piece.

VFC brings the BCM MK2 MCMR to the airsoft field as a gas blowback rifle, fully licensed with full trademarks and roll markings by BCM, and it wears the 11.5-inch carbine configuration in a uniform Urban Grey finish across the metalwork and furniture.

The receivers are metal and engraved with the "BCM" marking on both upper and lower, carrying the genuine roll markings the licence provides. The upper carries a Picatinny rail along the top, while the lower receives the polymer Urban Grey BCM GUNFIGHTER Mod 0 grip. The front end is a metal 267mm BCM GUNFIGHTER MCMR handguard in grey, engraved with the "BCM" marking and built with M-LOK slots for direct mounting of lights, lasers, and grips without rails on top of rails. Inside it sits a metal 275mm outer barrel finished by a steel 45mm muzzle brake, completing the compact 11.5-inch carbine profile.

At the rear, the polymer Urban Grey VFC BCM GUNFIGHTER Mod 0 stock rides on a metal five-position stock pipe, with sling sockets on both sides and a rubber stock pad for a solid, comfortable shoulder position. Feeding comes from a metal-housed black 30-round V3 BCM-style AR/M4 gas magazine.

The small-parts set is steel throughout: a steel trigger with a polymer trigger guard engraved with the "BCM" marking, a steel fire selector, a steel bolt catch, a steel magazine release, and a steel QD sling end plate, with a metal charging handle engraved with the "BCM GUNFIGHTER" marking and a metal gas block with gas tube completing the barrel furniture.

Internally, the rifle is built around the new EVO hop-up system. Its design is centred on the TDC ? Top Dead Center ? principle, applying pressure to the top of the BB rather than the rear, for a straighter and more consistent spin. The hop-up chamber and its components are steel, and adjustment is made from the rear through a screw with tactile clicks, so each increment of adjustment is precise and repeatable. Disassembly has been redesigned as well: the inner barrel and hop-up rubber can be changed without removing the outer barrel or the handguard, and a long hex key is included for the hop-up assembly work.
