Real Steel Background

Br?gger & Thomet ? better known simply as B&T ? is a Swiss manufacturer based in Thun that built its reputation on suppressed weapons, tactical accessories and the kind of no-nonsense engineering the Swiss are famous for. In the early 2010s the company distilled that experience into the APC family: the Advanced Police Carbine. Built around a detachable upper receiver that separates from the lower for compact transport, with fully ambidextrous controls and a telescoping stock as standard, the APC line was designed from the outset for police and special operations users who needed a modern, modular, suppressor-ready platform. The family spans the 9x19mm APC9 ? which famously won the United States Army's Sub Compact Weapon program in 2019 ? the .300 BLK APC300 and the 5.56x45mm APC556. The APC556 scales the same compact, ambidextrous architecture up to a rifle-calibre carbine, pairing a short-stroke piston action with a full-length top rail, removable side and bottom rails, and B&T's clean, functional Swiss aesthetic. It has since found its way into the hands of law-enforcement and military units across Europe and beyond, and its unmistakable silhouette ? compact, squared-off and utterly purposeful ? has made it a favourite on screens and at the range alike. The B&T Licensed APC556 AEG from ASG and Double Eagle brings that distinctive Swiss carbine to the airsoft field as an electric rifle, complete with official trademarks, a Falcon FCU gearbox and a quick-change spring system.

Product Details

Officially licensed by B&T through ASG, this Double Eagle-built APC556 is a faithful electric replica of the Swiss Advanced Police Carbine. The metal 170mm handguard is connected to the upper receiver as one unit ? loosen the screws and the two separate, exactly like the takedown concept of the real firearm ? and it carries Picatinny rail sections on all four quadrants, with removable polymer Picatinny side rails on the left and right flanks and moulded rails on top and bottom. At the front sits a metal 235mm outer barrel capped with a 75mm B&T APC / MR556-style muzzle brake. The metal upper receiver is engraved with the "B&T", "Swiss Cross" and "APC556" logo markings, while the polymer lower receiver ? with an integrated polymer pistol grip moulded as one piece ? carries the "B&T" and "APC" engravings.

At the rear is a metal 3-position telescopic stock with a polymer stock pad; extend it fully and the rear cover of the receiver adapter opens to reveal the battery compartment inside. Feeding the AEG is a polymer Double Eagle magazine with a huge 180-round capacity, engraved with the B&T logo. The small-parts set is built around full ambidexterity: polymer ambidextrous fire selector, ambidextrous magazine release and ambidextrous bolt release, a steel cocking handle, polymer flip-up and removable front and rear sights, and a metal gas block with gas tube completing the exterior realism.

Inside, hop-up adjustment is made by opening the bolt ? just like field-stripping the real thing. The rifle runs the Falcon electric fire control unit 3.0 (ETU / MOSFET) paired with the FALCON gearbox, which combines the FCU with a quick-change spring system so the power setup can be swapped without a full teardown. Please note that as an airsoft replica, appropriate eye protection should always be worn, and local regulations regarding airsoft ownership and use must be observed.
