Are Krytac Guns Good?

Krytac AEG rifles are considered to be one of the best performing electric airsoft guns out of the box. Krytac's mission is to build pre-upgraded and pre-tuned airsoft guns for more demanding customers. That means Krytac guns shoot with more power and greater accuracy than most other brands of electric airsoft guns. Unfortunately, that also means that there is no such thing as a cheap Krytac airsoft gun. While Krytac is not meant for beginners, it does make a fantastic starter gun that can grow with you as you become better - provided that you have the budget of course. Laylax makes a lot of upgrade parts for Krytac, allowing you to easily modify and raise the performance of a factory Krytac gun. Krytac guns are one of the most reliable AEG rifles in Airsoft.

Which Is The Best Krytac Airsoft Gun?

By far the most famous model that made Krytac famous is the Kriss Vector Airsoft gun, available in a large number of colors and configurations. Its futuristic look earned it a spot in many sci-fi movies, including the TOTAL RECALL remake. The Krytac LVOA rifles licensed by War Sport and the Krytac Trident MK3 are the best performing, although the Krytac P90 SMG is likely the most impressive.

Are Krytacs Compatible With Tokyo Marui?

Krytac electric guns are all based on the same Tokyo Marui gearbox design so the gearbox parts are industry-standard and interchangeable for the most part. Most other parts in their M4 platform are compatible with Tokyo Marui as well, including inner barrel, hop up, gears, cylinders and motors.

Are Stock Krytac Gears Any Good?

Yes, Krytac gears are good quality and are durable. They are heated treated for extra hardness and strength, making them strong enough to power the gun to 400fps levels of power and beyond. However, like any consumable part, gears will experience wear and tear and eventually require replacement.

Can You Use a Krytac LMG in Milsim?

Yes, the Krytac LMG is designed to be a high-performing suppressive fire airsoft weapon that is perfect for Milsim games, unless there are specific restrictions at the game field that would prohibit you from using an LMG. The only other restriction would be power levels and you should check the event's power limits before taking your LMG to the game. In any event, we always recommend taking more than one gun to a game as a backup.

Do G&P Mags Fit in Krytacs?

Krytac guns are compliant with Tokyo Marui standards, just like G&P airsoft guns and magazines. So the answer is yes - G&P magazines will fit in Krytacs, but of course Krytac magazines will still feed the best and smoothest.

Do Krytacs Have Quick Change Spring?

Yes, Krytac gearboxes have a quick change spring feature on the back of the gearbox that allows you to quickly change the power of your gun without disassembling the gearbox.

Do Krytacs Have Mosfets?

Yes, Krytac electric airsoft guns all use a standard MOSFET system for trigger control, but they are not programmable like the more fancy and full featured GATE Electronic Control Units (ECU).
