Gas and magazine compatibility
Can I use CO2 in a pistol sold for refillable gas?
Only choose a CO2 configuration explicitly approved for that exact model. Similar-looking magazines or another version of the same pistol are not sufficient evidence. Follow the manufacturer's specified gas for the purchased version.
Are all Glock or CZ magazines compatible?
No universal compatibility should be assumed. Match the manufacturer, model, generation and power system. A CZ75, Shadow 2 or Shadow 2 Orange label should not be treated as an interchangeable specification without explicit confirmation.
Low temperature and upkeep
Why can blowback weaken in cold conditions?
Gas performance changes with temperature, and repeated use can cool a magazine further. A leak, filling issue or mechanical fault can also affect operation. Allow the equipment to return naturally to conditions permitted by its manual; never heat a pressurised magazine with a flame or external heater.
Does CO2 guarantee reliable operation in every temperature?
No. The whole model, seals, cartridge system and manufacturer's operating limits matter. Do not replace a diagnosis with a higher-pressure power source.
How should I care for the pistol and its magazines?
Use the model's cleaning, lubricant and storage instructions. Inspect accessible seals and feeding surfaces, keep the barrel and hop-up contact area free of excess lubricant, and stop if you hear a persistent leak or the slide binds. Do not force or dismantle a pressurised magazine.
