First Hi-Capa Loadout: Magazines, Green Gas, and BBs That Actually Fit

A Hi-Capa without a spare magazine and gas is a one-and-done rental experience. This loadout guide sticks to parts that fit — OEM first — so you do not buy expensive wrong SKUs.

Start from the Hi-Capa Buyer’s Guide if you still need to pick a gun. Model differences: 5.1 vs 4.3 vs Gold Match vs DOR.

1) Magazines — OEM before aftermarket

For Tokyo Marui GBB Hi-Capas, begin with Marui-labeled magazines:

Browse more: Airsoft pistol magazines. Clone pistols (Army, EMG, etc.) need magazines sold for that exact model — “Hi-Capa” on the title is not enough.

2) Green gas — keep it simple

For most TM GBB pistols in mild climates, a standard green gas can is the right first buy. We currently recommend in-stock RWA Green Gas as the restockable everyday can. Black / “top” gases exist for colder days or heavier slides — add those after you know how your gun runs, not before your first game.

Deeper gas background: Green Gas vs CO2.

3) BBs — 0.25g bio as the default

Tokyo Marui Finest Bio 0.25g (1kg) is a safe all-rounder for most TM Hi-Capa GBB pistols outdoors and indoors. Move heavier only after hop-up and barrel work justify it.

How many spare mags?

Play style Practical kit
Casual skirmish / backup pistol Gun + 1 spare mag + gas + BBs
Pistol-primary CQB Gun + 2–3 mags + gas
Competition / stage work Gun + 3+ mags, magwell later, optics only if DOR/RMR ready
On product pages we quietly recommend matching magazines, gas, and BBs when the mapping is clean — use those suggestions; ignore random “frequently bought” noise that mixes platforms.
