It has a shorter barrel than the G36K\r\nand a four-prong open-type flash hider or a birdcage-type flash hider. The\r\nextremely short barrel forced designers to move the gas block closer to the\r\nmuzzle end and reduce the length of the gas piston operating rod. The handguard\r\nand stock were also shortened, and the fixed carry handle (with optics) was\r\nreplaced with a carrying handle with an integrated MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny rail.\r\nThe G36C was developed and produced in January 2001. Their gas blowback\r\ntechnology is some of the most realistic on the airsoft market, creating\r\nvarious gas blowback airsoft guns. \u003c\/p\u003e\r\n\r\n\u003cp class=\"MsoNormal\"\u003eThe Umarex (Elite Force) G36C gas blowback rifle by VFC is a\r\nbeautifully designed rifle with an entire polymer body designed to be robust for\r\nextended use. The fire and safety selector is ambidextrous and has controls on\r\nboth sides of the receiver which is the same design as the original G3\r\nselector. The Selector settings are marked with symbols in firing modes,\r\nconsisting of safe, semi, two-round burst, and full auto. The stock, too, is\r\nmulti-functional. Its ability to fold to the side shortens the weapon's overall\r\nlength for use in tight areas. The rifle can also still fire with the stock\r\ncollapsed. The G36C incorporates holes where assembly pins can be placed during\r\nweapon cleaning or maintenance to avoid getting lost easily. The G36C also has\r\na metal 14mm CCW flash hider. The flash hider is locked on tight, so removing\r\nit may require a tool. The bolt release is very interesting on the G36C.\r\nThe bolt release lever is located next to the trigger. So when you reinsert\r\nyour loaded is just a simple push down on this leaver to send the bolt forward,\r\nmaking reloads faster than, say, on an M4 rifle. There are also a few sling\r\npoints on the rifle, two on the front and one on the gun's stock. You will need\r\na hook-style sling to be able to use the sling on this G36C. \u003c\/p\u003e\r\n\r\n\u003cp class=\"MsoNormal\"\u003eAdding accessories to your G36C is Very easy. You have a\r\npicatinny rail on top so you can mount optics or a laser device, or if you want,\r\nyou can attach Picatinny rails to the side and bottom of the handguard (These\r\nare not included with the Umarex (Elite Force) G36C and are sold separately).To\r\nsecure the picatinny rail to your handguard, you have to line the hole on your\r\npicatinny rail and screw them into the corresponding holes on the handguard,\r\nand then you can mount a flashlight, foregrip, or laser device to the side or\r\nunderneath the handguard. \u003c\/p\u003e\r\n\r\n\u003cp class=\"MsoNormal\"\u003eThe charging handle on the G36C has a unique design. The\r\nhandle sits flush under the Picatinny rail allowing for it not to get in the\r\nway. To charge the handle, you need to pull the tab towards the end of the\r\nrifle either to the left or right, then pull back and let go. To lock the bolt\r\nto the rear, insert an empty magazine and pull the charging handle back or push\r\nup on the bolt release lever next to the trigger while pulling back on the\r\ncharging handle. Doing one of these two methods will lock back your bolt. \u003c\/p\u003e\r\n\r\n\u003cp class=\"MsoNormal\"\u003eThe hop-up can be adjusted by Locking back the bolt and\r\nfinding the hop-up adjuster under the pull tab on your charging handle. This\r\nstyle is new to the VFC G36 system because it is a slide adjustment instead of\r\na wheel or hop-up that requires a tool. Sliding the adjuster forward adds more\r\nhop; sliding it back decreases the hop.\u003c\/p\u003e\r\n\r\n\u003cp class=\"MsoNormal\"\u003eThe G36C magazine is particularly remarkable on this gun,\r\nbeing made out of high-quality plastic and is made to last extended use. The first\r\nthing you notice about this magazine is the dummy rounds inside, which look fantastic\r\neven for being fake \/ dummy rounds. Also, like on the real G36, you can stack\r\nyour magazine's side by side by the notches on the side of the magazine acting\r\nlike a mag clamp, so in theory, if you wanted to stack ten mags Tougher, you\r\ncan! However, keep in mind that these tabs can hinder you while looking for a\r\nmag pouch, so keep that in mind. Filling the magazine with gas is simple. The gas\r\nvalve is located at the top of the mag. Holding the magazine facing downwards, fill\r\nthe magazine for seven seconds. We find that this is the perfect amount of time\r\nto get the right amount of gas in the magazine.\u003c\/p\u003e\r\n\r\n\u003cp class=\"MsoNormal\"\u003eThe Blowback on the Umarex (Elite Force) G36C is one of the\r\nbest for the G36 GBBRs out there. It is crisp and snappy and really packs a\r\npunch with every shot. When the trigger is pulled, it does not feel sluggish as\r\nits cycle rate is relatively high, so you can quickly get shots off on semi. On\r\nfull auto, it's even better. When you mix the high cycle rate with the recoil,\r\nit is just a joy to shoot. \u003c\/p\u003e\r\n\r\n\u003cp class=\"MsoNormal\"\u003eTaking apart this rifle is pretty simple. However, we always\r\nrecommend that you err on the side of caution or hand it to a gunsmith to fix\r\nor clean your rifle if you are new to GBBRs. The takedown pins are located to\r\nthe left and right of the fire selector. Removing these pins will allow you to\r\nremove the lower receiver to see the trigger box.
